HUBBARD William A. Stambaugh, 76, died Wednesday evening, March 31, 2010 at UPMC Shenango. He was born October 11, 1933 in Youngstown, a son of Morgan L. and Elizabeth H. Bates Stambaugh and was a lifelong area resident.

Mr. Stambaugh worked in the parts department for Cummins Bridgeway Diesel for 21 years before retiring in 1998. He served with the United States Army, was a member of the Retirees Club of Operating Engineers Local 66C and enjoyed computers.

He leaves his wife, the former Barbara J. Simcox, whom he married August 27, 1964; a son, William M. (Angelica) Stambaugh of Hubbard; a daughter, Lori Rood of Coppell, TX and four grandchildren, Alicia, Alexander, Allison and Alana.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

There are no calling hours or funeral services.
