HUBBARD Funeral services will be held on Friday March 1, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home with Deacon John Bartos officiating for Raymond J. Paris Sr. 81, the last of 14, who died Tuesday morning February 26, 2019 at Liberty Health Care Center. He was born July 28, 1937 in Hubbard, a son of Stephen and Grazia Carano Parisi.
Mr. Paris, a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, was a car blocker at Youngstown Steel Door and had played softball on their team for many years. He was a past president of the United Steelworkers of America Local 2310 and a member of the ITAM Club. Raymond enjoyed hunting and fishing, was an avid antique, watch and gun collector. He enjoyed coaching his sons in football and baseball.
He leaves his wife, the former Carol L. Klug, whom he married June 30, 1956 at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church; two sons, Raymond J. Paris Jr. and his wife Mary Jo of Campbell and James E. Paris of Hubbard; three daughters, Vicki Walter of Campbell, Rose Emanuel and her husband Alfred of McDonald and Anita Dintino of Liberty; 14 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents; 5 brothers, Patsy, Michael, Daniel, Bill and Steve Paris; 8 sisters, Fanny Pasquale, Sylvia Zarlingo, Anna Marrotti, Mary Gabrish, Evelyn Angelo, Beatrice Franke, Dora Muntean and Angeline Morrell and 1 granddaughter Davine.
Family and friends may call on Friday March 1, 2019, one hour prior to the funeral services from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. John DelliQuadri and the entire staff of Liberty Arms Assisted Living and Liberty Arms Skilled Nursing.
Interment will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
