YOUNGSTOWN Norman P. Cole passed away on Monday evening October 19, 2020 at the age of 83. We think he did it on purpose to avoid having to vote in the upcoming election. He was born December 16, 1936 in Youngstown, a son of Paul R. and Georginna Shepard Cole and was a lifelong area resident.
Norm worked for Frank’s Auto Parts for 14 years, Tom’s Automotive for 4 years and previously for Liberty Local Schools for 5 years.
He left behind a lot of stuff that his wife has no idea what to do with. So if you’re looking for old cars, car parts, tools or bags of empty soda pop cans, please wait an appropriate amount of time before you ask what you can have. This is not an ad for stuff, but an ad for a great man, loving husband, adoring father and grandfather who you could always get a bear hug from. If you couldn’t find Norm, chances are he was crushing cans in the garage or watching old time Westerns in his recliner.
Norm is survived by his overly patient and accepting wife, Marie, who was the love of his life. Other survivors include his daughters, Terri, Denise, Bonnie, Susie, Christine and Janice and son William as well as a bunch of grandkids and great grandkids.
There are no calling hours or funeral services.
Arrangements are being handled by the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.
