HUBBARD Nicholas P. McCarthy, 19, of Hubbard, died Thursday afternoon, July 8, 2004, at his residence. He was born September 27, 1984, in Warren, a son of Thomas E. and Natalie J. Davis McCarthy and was a life long Hubbard resident.

Nicholas was a member of Pleasant Valley Evangelical Church and was actively involved in the Muscular Dystrophy Support Group at Children's Rehabilitation Center in Howland. A 2003 graduate of Hubbard High School, Nick was an avid NASCAR fan with Rusty Wallace his favorite driver. He enjoyed watching sports especially football and baseball.

He leaves his parents of Hubbard; a brother, Joshua McCarthy of Hubbard; grandparents, Martha Rogozinsky of Niles, Harold and Joyce Davis of Austintown; great-grandmother, Ruth Vaughn of Niles; uncles, Harold Davis of Austintown, Mark Davis of Austintown and John Davis of Liberty; aunts, Martha Davis of Niles and Cindy Cicero of Liberty.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas D. McCarthy; an aunt, Tracy LaPolla; grandfather, Thomas McCarthy, Sr. and great-grandmother, Martha Jones.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home.

Friends may call from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday prior to the services.
