Matthew Zagorski Obituary

HUBBARD Funeral services will be held on Monday October 29, 2018 at 7:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Swierz officiating for Matthew “Chip” Zagorski Jr., 58, who died Wednesday afternoon October 24, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. He was born May 12, 1960 in Youngstown, a son of Matthew and Lucy Pitoscia Zagorski Sr. and was a lifelong Hubbard resident.

Mr. Zagorski, a 1979 graduate of Hubbard High School was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church. He was a crane operator for Ellwood Engineered Castings for over 20 years. Chip was a member of the Youngstown Dart Association, the Half Ass Bass Fishing Club and enjoyed fishing, hunting and cooking.

Chip leaves his wife, the former Cindy A. Longwell, whom he married June 13, 1981 in Sharon, PA; a daughter, Bonnie Ann Silsbe and her husband Samuel of Canton; 2 brothers, Tom Zagorski and his wife Karen and Louis Zagorski both of Hubbard; a sister, Tina Zagorski of Hubbard and a grandson, Samuel Silsbe V.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Matthew Zagorski III.
