HUBBARD William E. "Bill" Weimer, 82, died Saturday evening March 24, 2012 at his daughter Trina's home. He was born May 3, 1929 in Youngstown, a son of Clyde C. and Blanche Poloski Weimer and moved to Hubbard in 1962.
Mr. Weimer was an electrician for LTV Steel Corp. for 35 years, retiring in 1981. He was a member of St. Patrick Church, having worked the festivals and was a member of the Knights of Columbus where he was a 3rd degree knight. Bill enjoyed bowling, fishing, golfing and playing poker with his friends.
His leaves his wife, the former Barbara Walts, whom he married May 28, 1960; a son, William B. (Kathy) Weimer of Toledo; four daughters, Cheryl (Ken) Booth of South Africa, Mary Kay (Bill) Cook of Brookfield, Trina Ann (Rick) Kneubehl of Masury and Barbara Lynn (Richard) Van Hoosen of Boston, MA; a brother Robert R. (Jenny) Weimer of Girard; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Clyde F. Weimer and a sister, Dorothy Scali
Funeral services will be held Thursday 11:00 AM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.
Final resting place will be Hubbard Union Cemetery
