HUBBARD William H. Walker, 70, of Hubbard, died Wednesday morning, September 3, 2008, at his residence. He was born on November 16, 1937, in Hubbard, a son of Edward and Sarah Redmond Walker, having lived in Florida for 28 years, then moving back to Hubbard in 2006.

Mr. Walker was a salesman for Stiver Chevrolet and Oldsmobile for 15 years. He attended St. Patrick Church in Hubbard and was a 1956 graduate of Hubbard High School. Bill enjoyed bowling, cars and attending Hubbard football games. He was a very devoted father and grandfather.

He leaves his wife, the former, Doris A. Romo, whom he married on April 4, 1959; a son, William W. (Suzan) Walker of Brookfield; a daughter, Lisa J. (Daniel) Pratt of Richmond, TX; two brothers, Robert Walker of Girard and Richard Walker of Sun City, FL; a sister, Betty Jane Cornell of Hubbard; three grandchildren, Chad, Mitchell and Sarah and a great-grandchild, Tyler.

His parents and two brothers, Edward and Elmer Walker preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home in Hubbard, where family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., prior to the service.
