HUBBARD Funeral services will be held Wednesday 9:30 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Church, Hubbard for Mr. William Andrew Smith, 60 of 5744 Chestnut Ridge Rd. who died of cancer Saturday morning at his home.

He was born September 29, 1940 in Youngstown, a son of Andrew William and Lucy Malagisi Smith and returned to Hubbard in 1995 coming from Albany, GA.

Mr. Smith worked for Auto Zone until his illness in October 1998. Prior to this he worked for the Miller Brewing Company, Albany, GA until 1995 and served with the United States Navy for 22 years before retiring in 1979. He was a member of St. Patrick Church and the Knights of Columbus, Hubbard Council and Albany, GA Council. He was also an avid auto racing fan and participant.

He leaves his wife, the former Joan Corrigan whom he married August 29, 1969; two sons, Andrew William and Charles Joseph Smith both of Stanwood, WA; two daughters Sharon Renee Smith of Pittsburgh, PA and Kathleen Ann Smith of Oak Harbor Naval Station in WA; three brothers, Robert Michael Smith of Hubbard, Thomas Raymond Smith of Clinton, MS and James Edward Smith of New Waterford, OH; two stepsisters, Anita Parson of Youngstown and Betty Jane Glay of Phoenix, AZ. His parents and stepfather Art Miller are deceased.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday 7 to 9 PM.
