HUBBARD William H. Schroeder, 81, of Hubbard, died Wednesday, February 2, 2005, at St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center. He was born July 26, 1923, in Coitsville, a son of Herman and Jeanette Keown Schroeder and was a life long area resident.

Mr. Schroeder worked for Sharon Steel Corp. for 45 years, retiring in 1985. He enjoyed hunting, the outdoors and spending time with his family. Bill served with the Army in World War II and played football for the Army Blue Devils in Belgium during this time.

He leaves his wife, the former Irene Schulli, whom he married February 1, 1947; two sons, Joseph M. (Patricia) Schroeder and William M. (Charlene) Schroeder, both of Hubbard; two daughters, Jean C. Morosky of Cincinnati, OH and Elizabeth A. (Charles) Evans of Hubbard; two sisters, Marilyn Malutic and Eleanor Shaner, both of Coitsville; 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

His parents, a brother, Richard Schroeder and a son, Jon Schroeder are deceased.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, 5 to 8 PM and on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00AM.
