HARTFORD William A. Palumbo, 53, formerly of Hubbard, died Sunday February 2, 2025 at his home. He was born April 22, 1971 in Sharon, PA a son of William G. and Mary Kilgore Palumbo and was a lifelong area resident.

Mr. Palumbo, a 1989 graduate of Hubbard High School served with the United States Air Force with the special operations Para rescue 20th SOS Unit during Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He was a supervisor at Trivium Packaging in Youngstown. Bill enjoyed tinkering, fixing and building things, anything to do with racing and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan.

He leaves his dad, William G. Palumbo of Hubbard; his wife, the former Amy Nigro, whom he married December 16, 1999; two daughters, Amanda Madeline and her husband Neal of Hubbard and Maria Palumbo at home; a brother, Mark Palumbo and his wife Christine of Powell, OH and nieces and nephews, Brooklyn Trolio, Chloe Trolio, Mackenzie Palumbo and Vincent Palumbo.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

A Celebration of Bill's life will be held on Saturday February 8, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kelley-Cummins Funeral Home.

The benefit dinner for Bill is February 15, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM a the VFW Post No. 1338, 439 E. State St., Sharon, PA 16146.
