HUBBARD Monday at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church with Fr. Michael Swierz officiating for William J. Matovina, 67, who died on Wednesday morning November 4, 2015 at the Cleveland Clinic. He was born May 28, 1948 in Sharon, PA, a son of John T. and Ursula M. McIntee Matovina and was a lifelong Hubbard resident. Mr. Matovina, a graduate of Hubbard High School, received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Youngstown State University. He worked at Parker Hannifin, the former Commercial Shearing for 43 years, retiring in 2009. William was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church. William was a member of the Village Golf League, the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Classic Bowling League and the Spiech Classic Bowling League. He loved the Browns, the Buckeyes, NASCAR, and golfing with his buddies on the weekends, but most of all enjoyed being with his family. He leaves his wife, the former Sue Millerleile, whom he married August 28, 1971; a son, Bill (Amy) Matovina Jr. of Clearwater, FL; a daughter, Marsha (Matt) Barton of Hubbard; three grandchildren, Jordyn Dobos, Bailey Orr and Wren Matovina; two step grandchildren, Taylor and Madison Barton; his mother-in-law, Gerry Millerleile of Hubbard and his dog Rosie. He was preceded in death by his parents. Family and friends may call on Sunday, 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.
