HUBBARD William A. Kennedy, 75, of Hubbard, died on Thursday morning, April 17, 2008, at Hospice House. He was born on July 23, 1932, in Youngstown, a son of Michael C. and Martha Bruce Kennedy and was a lifelong area resident.

Mr. Kennedy worked at Youngstown Welding & Engineering for 38 years, retiring in 1987. He was a member of St. Patrick Church in Hubbard and the Hubbard VFW. Bill was a graduate of The Rayen School and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

He leaves his wife, the former Patricia Charles, whom he married on November 17, 1956; four daughters, Mary Beth (Jordan) Ramsey of Salem, Cathy (Rick) McCracken of Girard, Karen (Cornel) Bogdan of Hubbard and Patty (Jay) Kurtz of Cincinnati; a sister Martha Brown of Miami, FL and eight grandchildren, Dan and Jack Ramsey, Kyle, Keenan and Quinn McCracken, Maggie and Sally Bogdan and Lily Kurtz.

His parents, two brothers, Bruce and Jack Kennedy and a sister, Mary Kennedy, preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, 9:15 a.m. at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Church in Hubbard.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
