William Greene's Obituary
HUBBARD Funeral services will be held Wednesday 9:30 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and 10:00 at St. Patrick Church, Hubbard for Mr. William J. Greene, 88 who died Sunday evening at Northside Hospital.
He was born January 23, 1913 in Struthers, OH a son of James and Margaret McGaffney Greene and was a lifelong area resident.
He worked for Youngstown Sheet and Tube for 42 years before retiring in 1973. He was a member of St. Patrick Church and enjoyed gardening.
His wife, the former Theresa Venturo, whom he married February 23, 1934, died October 1, 1991. He leaves two sons, James of Hubbard and Edward of West Middlesex, PA; a daughter, Rita M. Fricker of Hubbard; 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Four brothers, one sister and two grandchildren are deceased.
Friends may call at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home on Tuesday 5 to 8 PM.
