HUBBARD William G. Cornell Sr., 95, died Sunday morning January 12, 2025 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. He was born July 12, 1929 at home in Coalburg, a son of Earl R. and Virginia Brendil Cornell.

Mr. Cornell, a 1947 graduate of Brookfield High School was a member of Masury Methodist Church. He was a self-employed owner-operator truck driver for over 60 years and loved trucks.

His wife, the former Dorothy Ann Kaiser, whom he married September 3, 1949, died May 10, 2024.

He leaves two sons, William G. Cornell Jr. of Brookfield and George R. Cornell and his wife Vicki of Masury; a daughter, Diane L. Miller and her husband James of Hubbard; 6 grandchildren, Tammy, Bo, Lynle, Melissa, Amy and Ryan; 2 step grandchildren, Jennifer and Jamie and 15 great grandchildren. William was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Dorothy; a daughter, Cindie Jankowski; three brothers, Harold, Tom and Ed Cornell and a sister, Virginia Wilkerson.

Family and friends may call on Friday January 17, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Kelley-Cummins Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 5:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Robert Hitchcock officiating.

Interment will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
