Obituary

LOWELLVILLE William J. Fisher "Buffalo Bill", 66, died Thursday afternoon November 27, 2025 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. He was born October 10, 1959 in Youngstown, a son of Franklin Joseph and Janet L. McCurdy Bell.

Mr. Fisher, a graduate of Grove City High School was a steel worker at Republic Steel for 40 years, retiring in 2022. He was a member of the VFW Post No. 3307 in Youngstown and the ACME Club. William enjoyed hunting, camping, being at the lake, old cars and loved watching NASCAR.

He leaves his wife, the former Mary Turner, whom he married December 18, 2021; a stepson Edward Morrison III of Hubbard; three stepdaughters, Brandy Morrison of Youngstown, Gina Morrison of Warren and Crystal Morrison of Columbus; brother Joe Fisher and several other siblings; his best friend and cousin, Rob McCurdy of Texas and 16 grandchildren.

William was preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends may call on Sunday December 14, 2025 at the Kelley-Cummins Funeral Home from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Bill Beck officiating.
