MASURY Wilbur Marshall Juillerat Sr., 87, died Tuesday morning September 10, 2013 at his home. He was born December 21, 1925 in Struthers, OH a son of Ernest Herman and Bertha Mae Altimus Juillerat and was a lifelong area resident.
Mr. Juillerat served with the United States Army during World War II. He was a member of the New Life Christian Fellowship Church in Liberty and worked at W.E. Downie Construction as a carpenter for 35 years, retiring in 1986. Wilbur raced stock cars in the mid 60's at many local tracks. He loved fishing, yard work and especially loved his family.
He leaves his wife the former Bertha Mae Townsend, whom he married on April 28, 1947; a son Wilbur (Darlene) Juillerat Jr. of Hubbard; six daughters, Irene (Ronald) Learn of Hubbard, Cheryl Nuzzo of Youngstown, Bina (Wayne) Nicholson of Hubbard, Rita (James) Zoky of Hubbard, Natalie (Kenneth) Thomas of Pleasant View, TN and Jeannette (Marshall) Carr of Columbus; Three brothers Herbert (Velma) Juillerat, Raymond (Donna) Juillerat and John Juillerat. He also leaves 31 grandchildren, and 36 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Curtiss Juillerat; two sisters, Della Maloney and Elizabeth Soles; three brothers, Ernest Juillerat, Leonard Juillerat and Carl Juillerat and one great grandson, Clinton Zoky.
Funeral Services will be held Friday 11:00 AM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.
Family and friends may call on Thursday 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home and also one hour prior to the services on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the family, as they wish to make one donation to Hospice of the Valley and one to the American Cancer Society in Wilbur's name.
Interment will be at Brookfield Cemetery.
