HUBBARD TWP. Virginia Ida James, 86, passed away Monday Morning December 29. 2014 at her home.
She was born February 9, 1928 in Erie, PA a daughter of Andrew and Delyes (Princeton) Walp Sr..
Virginia was a long time Hubbard resident and moved locally following her marriage to Leo E. James on July 10, 1948. Together they shared nearly thirty-four years of marriage and their two children Jesse and Terry.
Mrs. James retired as a ticketer from Federal Wholesalers with over thirty-years of service. In her free time she enjoyed working crossword puzzles and spending time outside in her yard.
She leaves her son Jesse James and his wife Annette of Berlin Center, OH, her daughter with whom she made her home Terry Lloyd and her husband Edward of Hubbard, OH; five grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. James was preceded in death by her husband Leo on February 2, 1982 and by her brother Andrew D. Walp Jr..
Private services will be held on Saturday January 3, 2014 at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home. Burial will follow next to her husband at the Hubbard Union Cemetery.
