HUBBARD Funeral services will be held Wednesday 11:00 AM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home for Violet P. Humphries, 72, who died Thursday morning August 2, 2012 at Vibra Hospital in Boardman. She was born August 8, 1939 in Newcomerstown, OH a daughter of Thomas and Margaret Campbell Williams and had lived in the area for over 40 years.

Violet was a member of the Mahoning Valley Church and was assistant manager at Shell Oil Company for 17 years. She loved doing crafts, playing games on the computer and watching the TV show Monk. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.

Her husband, David Humphries, whom she married May 11, 1966, died November 26, 2007.

She leaves four sons, Ronald L. (Cathy) Morrison of Brockway, PA, Daniel K. (Brenda) Morrison of Concord, NC, Mike (Regina) Humphries of Petersburg, OH and Chuck (Karen) Humphries of Youngstown; two daughters, Vicki R. Barton of Hubbard and Sandy (Dave) Watson of Marion, OH; a granddaughter, Crystal D. Morrison whom Violet raised since she was a child and two granddaughters, Taylor N. and Madison R. Barton who lived with Grammy; 10 additional grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, James and Jeffrey Morrison and a brother, John Williams.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.
