HUBBARD Viola E. Sterner, 92, died on Tuesday morning, September 11, 2007 at Park Haven Home in Ashtabula. She was born on December 11, 1914, in Pittsburgh, PA, a daughter of Dominic and Mary Galuppo Zaccagnini, moving to Youngstown and then Hubbard.

Mrs. Sterner was a homemaker and a member of Richard Brown United Methodist Church in Youngstown.

Her husband, Cletus "Pete" Sterner, whom she married on January 27, 1949, died on September 4, 1989.

She leaves a son, Karl (Barbara) Sterner of Burghill, OH and two grandchildren, Mandy L. Sterner of Novi, MI and Dr. Karl A. Sterner of Denver, CO.

Besides her husband, preceding her in death, were her parents, a son, John Sterner and ten brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home in Hubbard, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
