HUBBARD Ursula M. Matovina, 82, of Hubbard, died Friday morning, October 27, 2006, at Hospice House. She was born on May 7, 1924, in Hubbard, a daughter of James and Margaret Carr McIntee and was a lifelong Hubbard resident.
Mrs. Matovina, a homemaker, was a member of St. Patrick Church in Hubbard and a 1942 graduate of Hubbard High School. Ursula was an avid gardener and enjoyed flowers, especially roses.
Her husband, John Matovina, whom she married on January 11, 1947, died on October 21, 2000.
She leaves her son, William J. (Sue) Matovina of Hubbard; a sister, Helen Roskos of Katy, TX; two grandchildren, Bill Matovina, Jr. of Clearwater, FL and Marsha Beasley of Hubbard and a great-granddaughter, Jordyn.
Besides her husband, her parents, a brother, Thomas McIntee and a sister, Alice Maxwell, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, 9:15 a.m. at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Church in Hubbard.
Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
