HUBBARD Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home, Hubbard, for Ulla V. Light, 84 of 5925 Carter St. who died Thursday morning at St. Elizabeth Hospital following a long illness. She was born March 3, 1916, in Sharon, PA, a daughter of Fred and Hazel Kettering Donnelly and has lived in Hubbard 50 years.
Mrs. Light, also known as Billie, was a homemaker and worked at General American Transportation Corp. during World War II and at Youngstown Welding and Engineering for two years. She was of the Presbyterian faith and a 1932 graduate of Sharon High School where she was on the basketball team. She enjoyed ceramics, knitting, sewing, gardening and camping.
She leaves her husband, Kenethen Light, whom she married November 10, 1954; a son, Dale May of Fowler, OH; a daughter, Virginia Nicholas of Hartville, OH; stepson, Floyd Light of Atlanta, GA; stepdaughter, Karen Marchand of Gainesville, FL; one brother, Dick Donnelly of Erie, PA; two sisters, Nancy Hann of Sharon, PA and Mary McCann of Hermitage, PA; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren. Two sisters, Wanda Donnelly and Elsie Hughey and five brothers, Howard, Robert, Jack, Fred and Charles Donnelly are deceased.
Friends may call at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home Friday, 6 to 8 PM.
