GIRARD Thomas E. Wirth, 76, died Tuesday afternoon August 12, 2025 at his home. He was born November 13, 1948 in Youngstown, a son of George D. and Elaine T. Duganne Wirth.

Mr. Wirth, a graduate of Canal Winchester High School, served with the United States Air Force during Vietnam. He was a purchaser for Ajax Magnethermic in Warren for 30 years. Thomas was a York Rite Mason and a member of the Sulgrave Lodge. He was an avid sports fan, loved the Pittsburgh Penguins and the New York Rangers, the Cleveland Indians and enjoyed watching NASCAR.

He leaves his wife, the former Sheryl Gallagher, whom he married November 24, 1969; a son, Christopher (Paul) Wirth of Lyndhurst, OH; a daughter, Melissa Hetmanski of Hubbard and 1 grandchild, Abbey Hetmanski.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and son-in-law, David Hetmanski.

There are no calling hours or funeral services.
