HUBBARD Thomas S. Karpinski Sr., 68, died Wednesday August 22, 2001 at Northside Hospital Medical Center in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit after a short illness. He was born December 24, 1932 in New York, NY a son of Helen Suter and has lived in Hubbard for 47 years.

Mr. Karpinski was a supervisor for Commercial Shearing and Stamping for 30 years before retiring in 1988. He also owned a printing and advertising business. He was a member of St. Patrick Church, Hubbard, and served with the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He was a 4th degree knight of the Knights of Columbus, Hubbard, a member of the American Legion, Sharpsville, the 40/8 Legion and the Hubbard Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3767 and Sharpsville Veterans of Foreign Wars Post.

He leaves three sons, Thomas Stephen Jr., Ronald John and Richard James Karpinski all of Hubbard; two daughters, Karen Irene Karpinski and Sharon Lynn Pedaline both of Hubbard; his mother, Helen Suter of Virginia; two stepbrothers and a stepsister all of New York; four granddaughters and five grandsons.

Funeral services will be held Monday 10:00 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and 10:30 at St. Patrick Church, Hubbard.

Friends may call at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home on Sunday 5 to 8 PM.
