HUBBARD A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday October 15, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Michael Swierz officiating for Thomas Secich, 84, who died Monday afternoon October 10, 2016 at Sharon Regional Hospital. He was born February 9, 1932 in Sharon, PA a son of Steve and Milka Rak Secich and had lived in Hubbard since 1956. Mr. Secich served with the United States Army and was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church. He worked at Sawhill Tubular in Wheatland, PA for 42 years, retiring in 1991. He was a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union. His wife, the former Josephine Strawinski, whom he married June 9, 1956, died June 5, 2014. Thomas leaves a son, Thomas Secich of Concord, OH; a daughter, Bridget (Alex) Forte of Hubbard and one grandson, Dr. Michael Forte of Morgantown, WV. He was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers, Steve, Michael, Frank, Joseph, John and Ferdinand Secich and two sisters, Mary Secich and Anna Zalac. Family and friends may call on Saturday one hour prior to the funeral services from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
