Thomas L. Gay, 73, died Thursday evening July 7, 2016 at Sharon Regional Hospital. He was born February 18, 1943 in Brownsville, PA a son of Stanley and Louise Davis Gay and lived in the area most of his life.

Mr. Gay served with the United States Army, and worked at Wheatland Tube as a finishing line attendant for 36 years before retiring July 30, 2004. Thomas was a member of the American Legion, Wheatland Post No. 432 and the Over the Hill Gang of Brookfield.

He leaves his wife the former, Clara Mohr, whom he married August 8, 1987; a stepson, Anthony (Michele) Catale of St. Clairsville, OH; two stepdaughters, Linda Taylor of New Middletown and Karen Wright of Austintown; three brothers, Ronald Gay of Poland, James (Bernie) Gay of Canfield and Earl (Stephanie) Gay of Boardman; two sisters-in-law, Faye Gay and Anna Marie Gay and a special niece, Michele (Scott) Moor.

Thomas also leaves 5 step grandchildren, Ronald (Amy) Taylor of Hubbard, Christine Taylor of Columbus, Anthony Catale of Youngstown, Megan Robbins of Austintown and Bradley Wagner of Columbiana and four great-great step grandchildren, Haleigh and Lylah Taylor and Ellie and Madeline Robbins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Stanley, Robert and William and a sister Candace.

Funeral services will be held on Monday July 11, 2016 at 12:00 Noon at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home with Pastor Phil Roland officiating.

Family and friends may call two hours prior to the services on Monday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.
