Obituary


COITSVILLE Mr. Thomas E. Dunlap, 83 of Coitsville, died Thursday morning at Orange Village Nursing Home. He was born June 30, 1918, in New Middletown, OH, a son of Thomas B. and Beula M. Webb Dunlap and has been an area resident since 1947.

Mr. Dunlap worked in the Republic Steel Corp. chemical lab for 43 years retiring in 1980. He was a member of Coitsville Presbyterian Church where he had served as a trustee and a member of the session and was an Army veteran serving in World War II from 1942 – 1945.

He leaves his wife, the former Elsie M. Amon, whom he married July 18, 1942; four sons, Theodore E. (Charlotte) Dunlap of Austintown, Harley E. (Marlene) Dunlap of Poland, Thomas B. (Cheryl) Dunlap of Campbell and David A. (Kelly) Dunlap of North Lima; one daughter, Jean E. (Jeff) Roskie of Campbell; one brother, Frank Dunlap of Corbett, OR; six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; 17 nieces and nephews. Two sisters, Arline Shodd and Jeannette Long and two brothers, Edward and Richard Dunlap are deceased.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home, Hubbard.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, 3:00 to 6:00 PM.
