Thomas Edward Dripps, 59, of Girard, went home to dance with the Lord unexpectedly on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at 1:40 p.m. in his home.

Thomas was born on December 4, 1955 in Youngstown, the son of Robert Dripps, Sr and Sally Katilus Malin.

A 1974 graduate of Hubbard High School, Tom was employed with Niles Expanded Metal.

He attended Victory Christian Center in Coitsville and loved worshiping the Lord. Tom had a passion for drinking coffee, music and cats and he cherished the time he spent with his grandsons. Tom also had a great sense of humor.

Tom is survived by his mother Sally (Charles) Malin of Hubbard; two daughters Heidi A. (Heath Graber) Dripps of Columbus and Brenda K. (Robert Arrowood) Dripps of Girard; two brothers James Dripps of Hubbard and Robert Dripps, Jr. of Poland; four sisters Kathy (Matt) Lockso of Hubbard, Bonnie (Pete) Dohallow of Hubbard; Cindy (Jerry) Taafe of Andover and Christine (Jerry) Centifanti of Poland; two grandsons Jeramiah Dripps and Johnny Wetzl; his lifelong friends Monica Cameli of Boardman and Christa Coupland of Hermitage; and his feline pet companion Penny Lane.

Tom was preceded in death by his father, Robert Dripps, Sr.

Calling hours will take place on Sunday, March 15, 2015 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and again on Monday, March 16, 2015 from 12:30 p.m. until the hour of service all at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home, 709 N. Main Street, Hubbard, Ohio 44425.

A Funeral Service will take place on Monday, March 16, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Rick Keenan officiating.

Burial will follow in Hubbard Union Cemetery in Hubbard.

The family suggests that memorial contributions take the form of donations in Tom's name to Angels for Animals, 4750 W. South Range Road, Canfield, Ohio 44406.
