YOUNGSTOWN Thomas Andrew Donofrio, 78, passed away on Sunday, July 14th while surrounded by a grateful family. Tom was a quiet man with a generous heart and sacrificial spirit. He was a caring son, thoughtful brother, and loving uncle. Tom will be sorely missed and his memory cherished forever. He leaves behind a family deeply touched by his life.

Tom graduated from East High School in 1954 and attended Youngstown State. He served in the US Army from 1957-59.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Catherine Donofrio, and brother, Ralph Donofrio.

Surviving are his sister, Jean Donofrio Toti and husband Joseph of Roanoke, VA; nieces and nephews, Randy Donofrio of Bradenton, FL; Bill Toti and wife Karen of Leesburg, VA; Carol Jones of Danville, VA; Cristopher Toti of Roanoke, VA; Beth Price and husband Tim of Bedford, VA; Dan Toti and wife Lisa of Salem, VA; Doug Toti and wife Carrie of Leonardtown, MD. He also leaves great-nieces and great-nephews Angela and Michael Donofrio; Nick, Amanda and Ryan Jones; Sara Robertson and husband Adam; Billy Toti; Zachary Price and wife Lauren; Taylor, Hannah and Gabriel Price; Daniel and Leah Toti; Xander and Giorgia Toti.

Special thanks to Tom's nurse, Nick Darkadakis, for the special care he gave to Tom and his family during his final days.

Private Services held Tuesday July 16, 2013.
