Obituary


HUBBARD Thomas G. Coller, 82, of Hubbard, died Sunday evening, February 6, 2005 at Briarfield at Ashley Circle. He was born June 24, 1922, in Hubbard, a son of Thomas J. and Mary Burnett Coller and was a life long Hubbard resident.

Mr. Coller was the personnel director for the former Powell Pressed Steel in Hubbard for 41 years, retiring in 1982. He was a member of Central Christian Church in Hubbard and was a former assistant superintendent of the Sunday school. Tom was an Army veteran of World War II, serving with the 123rd Infantry in the Pacific Theater, a 1940 graduate of Hubbard High School and a former scoutmaster.

He leaves his wife, the former Phyllis J. Rowland, whom he married September 21, 1946; three sons, David L. (Beverly) Coller, Donald G. Coller and William T. Coller, all of Hubbard; a daughter, Maryann (Matt) Wilson of Cicero, NY; a sister, Irene Husted of Hubbard; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents, a sister, Mae Swimmer and a brother, Donald Coller.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home.

Friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
