HUBBARD Theresa Suzanne Smiley, 70, died Monday morning December 31, 2012 at her home. She was born July 8, 1942 in Youngstown, a daughter of John Frances and Edna Gertrude Snelus Dahman and was a lifelong area resident.

Mrs. Smiley was a 1960 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School and attended Youngstown State University. She was an insurance agent for Paige and Byrnes Insurance Company in Hubbard for 25 years, retiring in 2010.

Suzanne was a very active member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church. She was formerly a Kindergarten teacher, a past member of Parish Council, a Eucharistic Minister, Renewal Team Leader, Festival chair person and officer of the Home and School Association at St. Patrick School.

Suzanne's grandchildren were her life and she enjoyed visiting Mill Creek Park.

She leaves her husband, Albert Smiley, whom she married December 28, 1963; two sons, AJ (Mary Ann) Smiley of Hubbard and Thomas Jon (Lisa) Smiley of South Euclid; a daughter, Suzanne (Steve) Lewis of Greenville, PA; three brothers, James (Eileen) Dahman of Canfield, Larry (Sandra) Dahman of Boca Raton, FL and Joseph (Paulette) Dahman of Elyria; a sister, Carolyn Gilson of Sugarland, TX; seven grandchildren, Justin, Mackenzie, Grace, Josie, Sophia, Lucas and Luke and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call on Thursday 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Friday 9:30 AM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home and 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church.

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Hospice of the Valley.

Interment will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
