GIRARD Funeral services will be held Saturday, 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Church for Teresa A. "Terri" Kuzman, 85, who passed away Wednesday afternoon March 21, 2012 at Hospice House after a long illness. She was born March 6, 1927 in Youngstown, a daughter of Louis and Anna Rokita Makara and was a lifelong area resident.

Mrs. Kuzman worked in the cosmetics department for Strouss Department Stores, which later became Kaufman's for over 50 years, retiring in 2000. She was a former member of St. Rose Church in Girard. Teresa enjoyed sewing, making quilts, gardening, taking care of wild birds and her cats.

She leaves her daughter, Patty (Tony) DiTommaso of Hubbard; three sisters, Irene Hedberg of Bessemer, PA, Barbara Fullerman of Poland and Rose Mary (Paul) Chestnut of Tennessee; four grandchildren, Melissa Gasior, Tony (Susie) DiTommaso, Jr., Joe (Alysha) DiTommaso and Michael (Maureen) DiTommaso; five great grandchildren, Todd Gasior, Joey, Kelsey, Josh and Vito DiTommaso and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Al Makara and Edward Makara and a grandson, Danny DiTommaso.

Family and friends may call on Saturday one hour prior to the services from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St., Boardman, OH 44512.

The family wishes to extend a thank you to all the caregivers at Hospice of the Valley and Autumn Hills Care Center in Niles and a special thank you to Carol Yablonovsky.

Burial will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
