HUBBARD  Sydney Carl Beck, 79, died Tuesday afternoon May 24, 2016 at Liberty Arms.  He was born December 17, 1936 in Geneva, OH a son of Carl and Effie (Hawes) Dickson Beck.

Mr. Beck was a truck driver for Autumn Industries.  Sydney loved to golf, shoot pool and do jigsaw puzzles.

His wife, the former Betty L. Fields, whom he married July 25, 1958, died December 26, 2014.

Sydney leaves two sons, Jeff Beck of Virginia Beach, SC and Glenn "Chip" (Colleen) Beck of Mentor, OH; a daughter, Laurie (Keith) Noyes of Hubbard; 8 grandchildren, Kelly (Nicole), Kerri (Shaun), Dorothy, Justin, Aisling, Ryan, Ian and Connor and 3 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

There are no calling hours or funeral services.
