HUBBARD Susanna M. Sorice, 81 of Hubbard, formerly of Liberty, died Saturday morning, December 20, 2003, at Caprice Health Care Center. She was born August 14, 1922, in Hubbard, a daughter of Anthony and Mary LaCivita and lived most of her life in Liberty.

Mrs. Sorice was a hairdresser and owned Sue's Beauty Shop for many years. A member of St. Patrick Church, Hubbard, the Senior Citizens of St. Anthony's Church, Youngstown, she enjoyed playing cards with her special friends, cooking, baking and spending time with her family. She was a graduate of Hubbard High School.

Her husband, Sam Sorice, whom she married May 31, 1947, died February 26, 1997. She leaves a son, Sam (Tina) Sorice Jr. of California; one daughter, Mary Sue (Daniel) Chiaberta of Hubbard; two brothers, James and Charles (Shirley) LaCivita, both of Hubbard; two sisters, Martha Chufo and Lucille (Mike) Nicora, both of Hubbard; four grandchildren, Suzanne (Lonnie) Chiaberta-Laird of Hubbard, Daniel (Amy) Chiaberta of Boardman, Nicole Sorice of Cleveland and Ashley Sorice of Boardman; two great grandsons, Anthony and Ryan Laird of Hubbard and a sister-in-law, Rae Soloman of Hubbard.

Her husband and parents preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 10:15 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home, Hubbard and at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick Church, Hubbard.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM.
