YOUNGSTOWN Stella A. Sfara Ellis, 89 of Youngstown, died Monday morning, December 15, 2003, at Omni Manor Nursing Home. She was born December 25, 1913, in Youngstown, a daughter of Paul and Blanche Pavalone Greeks and was a life long area resident.

Mrs. Ellis, a homemaker, was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Youngstown and enjoyed sewing, gardening, outdoors, bingo and traveling.

Her first husband, Louis Sfara, whom she married in 1943, was killed during World War II in 1945. Her second husband, Frank. H. Ellis, whom she married in 1948 died in 1987. She leaves two sons, Richard L. Sfara of Lowellville and Ronald P. (Marsha) Sfara of Poland; six grandchildren, Ronald Sfara, Louis Sfara, Denise Perry, Richard Sfara, Bernadette DeGenaro and Joseph Sfara and four great grandchildren, Ronald Sfara, Paul Sfara, Dominic Perry and Krista Perry.

Her parents, two brothers, Tony and John Greeks and two sisters, Ann Frawley and Blanche Wampole are deceased.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, 10:00 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home, Hubbard and at 11:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church.

Friends may call at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home on Thursday from 9:00 to 10:00 AM.
