HUBBARD Mr. Stanley Wroblewski, 75, of Hubbard, died Tuesday morning, March 26, 2002, at his home. He was born July 16, 1926 in Youngstown, a son of Felix and Anna Jakubowski Wroblewski and was a lifelong area resident.
Mr. Wroblewski, also known as Stas', worked for the Trumbull County Department of Human Services for 6 years before retiring in 1989. Prior to this he worked for Youngstown Sheet & Tube, Briar Hill Works, for 31 years, retiring in 1981. He was a member of St. Patrick Church, Hubbard, where he served as an usher and was a graduate of the Rayen School.
He was in the United States Army during World War II serving in the Philippines and Japan. He was a member of the Polish Legion of American Veterans Post 87, Youngstown and the Hubbard Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3767. He also was a member of the Knights of Columbus Bishop Malone Assembly 836 where he was a 4th Degree Knight and the All Saints Lodge 5371.
He leaves his wife, the former Dorothy Cooley, whom he married September 11, 1971; three stepsons, Dennis W. McEaneney of Akron, OH, Robert C. (Stephanie) and David M. (Kathryn) McEaneney, both of Cleveland, OH; a sister, Jane Franczkowski of Hubbard; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A brother, William and a sister, Irene Fill are deceased.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 9:30 AM at Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Church, Hubbard.
Friends may call at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home on Monday, 5 to 7 PM.
