HUBBARD Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home with Fr. Michael Swierz officiating for Silvio DePascale, 93, who died Sunday evening February 14, 2016 at Liberty Health Care. He was born April 22, 1922 in Sharon, a son of Carmen and Assunta DeCapua DePascale and moved to Hubbard in 1957 coming from Farrell. Mr. DePascale, a graduate of Farrell High School, served with the United States Navy as a Seaman First Class during World War II. Silvio was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church and was a bulldozer operator at Sharon Steel Corporation for 44 years, before retiring in 1977. His wife, the former Virginia T. Ross, whom he married October 5, 1957, died October 20, 2015. He leaves a daughter, Susan Laughlin of Hubbard; a brother, Pat Pellegrino of Farrell; a sister, Gilda Germani of New Castle; two grandchildren, Eric (Angel Pounds) Wittenauer and Nicole (Keith) White and four great grandchildren, Miss Selena Pounds, Master Jesse J. Pounds, Miss Morgen Storm White and Master Christian Silvio White. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Napoleon DePascale and four sisters, Gina DePascale, Mary Morsillo, Florene Stefanik and Armenia "Minnie" Fister. Family and friends may call on Thursday, one hour prior to the funeral services from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.
