AKRON Silas Peluchette, 39, of Akron, formerly of Hubbard, died Monday, October 10, 2005, at his residence. He was born April 8, 1966, in Youngstown, a son of Joseph and Gertrude M. Connelly Peluchette and was a lifelong area resident.

Mr. Peluchette worked for Ravenna Scrap and was formerly employed by Summit Equipment Company in Akron and at the family business, Hubbard Scrap. Silas was an avid fisherman, loved the outdoors and enjoyed antiques and flea markets.

He leaves a daughter, Autumn Mae Peluchette of Hubbard; two brothers, Peter G. Peluchette and John Peluchette, both of Hubbard and two sisters, Rose Zap and Mary Ann Johnston, both of Akron.

His parents and a brother, Joseph F. Peluchette preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home in Hubbard.

Friends may call from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
