HUBBARD Shirley Ann Hafner, 73, died Monday morning July 8, 2024 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She was born February 20, 1951 in Youngstown, a daughter of Thomas and Rosemarie McDowell Stuckey.
Mrs. Hafner, a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church worked in the cafeteria for the Hubbard Public School System. She was a member of the school's union and liked to play BINGO. Shirley thoroughly enjoyed the love of her life, her family and especially her grandkids.
Shirley leaves her husband of 57 years, William J. Hafner, whom she married July 8, 1967; two sons, William Hafner and his wife Johnna of Aurora, CO and Stephen Hafner of Hubbard; a daughter, Lisa Turner and her husband Tom of Mason, OH; a brother, John Stuckey and his wife Vicki of South Carolina; twin sisters, Pat Leonelli of Lowellville and Gloria Steffen and her husband Robert of Phoenix, AZ and two grandchildren, Elijah and Mara.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Joseph, Thomas Jr. and Michael Stuckey and a sister Sandra Stuckey.
Family and friends may call on Monday July 15, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:15 PM at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:30 PM at the church with Fr. John Michael Lavelle officiating.
Interment will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
