HUBBARD- Shirlene M. Deal, 72, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2013 at 5:26 p.m. in her home. She was born on April 29, 1941 in Carbon, West Virginia the daughter of the late Charles and Edna (Tincher) Mainous.

Shirlene retired in 2011 after 42 years of service with Youngstown State University where she worked in the office of Undergraduate Admissions. She enjoyed cooking and her time at YSU and most of all she enjoyed her family.

Her husband, Jerry R. Deal, whom she married December 23, 1960, died June 17, 2012.

She leaves a son, Alan Deal of Pittsburgh; two daughters, Nancy O'Hara of Hubbard and Amy Kurcon of Poland; and eight grandchildren Joseph (Laura) O'Hara, Anthony and Marcus O'Hara, Christina, Katie, Kelly Deal, Dylan and Rachel Kurcon.

Family and friends may call on Thursday, August 29, 2013 from 5 until 8 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Rob McFarland as celebrant.
