HUBBARD Samuel A. Stewart, 88, of Hubbard, died Saturday, August 27, 2005, at Northside Medical Center. He was born April 14, 1917 in Cortland, Ohio, a son of Charles F. and Edna M. Williams Stewart and was a life long area resident.
Mr. Stewart owned and operated Sam's TV in Hubbard for 37 years. Sam was a member of Central Christian Church of Hubbard, the Masonic Lodge and Knights of Pythias #166.
His wife, the former Esther M. Hulton, whom he married October 7, 1937, died February 3, l988.
He leaves three sons, Charles (Phyllis) Stewart of Brookfield, Edwin (Nancy) Stewart of Hubbard and Fred R. (Nancy) Stewart of Brookfield ; a daughter-in-law, Roberta Stewart of Hubbard; three brothers, William Stewart of Jacksonville, Florida, Emery Stewart of Newton, Kansas, Ralph Stewart of South Bend, Indiana; 15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Donald L. Stewart, a sister, Katherine S. Felger and a grandson, Rodney Stewart.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home in Hubbard.
Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
