BROOKFIELD Ruth A. Maier, 71, of Brookfield, died Thursday morning, September 29, 2005 at her residence. She was born August 16, 1934, in Hubbard, a daughter of Russell and Isabelle Wentz Anderson and was an area resident most of her life.

Mrs. Maier was a homemaker and a member of a social group that met regularly with several of her close friends. Ruth was of the Protestant faith.

Her husband, Donald F. Maier, whom she married January 31, 1984, died February 24, 2003.

She leaves a son, James L. (Marty) Hunt of Boca Raton, FL; a sister, Audrey (Albert) Clayton of Alliance, OH and three nieces, Lynn Bertrand and family of Pisgah Forest, NC, Janice Berube and family of Alliance, OH and Bonnie Brown and family of Chandler, AZ.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home in Hubbard.

Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
