SEBRING Ruth I. Gibson, 87 of Sebring, OH, died Tuesday morning, May 6, 2003, at Crandall Medical Center, Sebring. She was born November 29, 1915 in Salem, OH, a daughter of Charles O. and Vida Whinnery Ingram and moved to Sebring in August 1993, coming from Verona, PA.

Mrs. Gibson was a homemaker and a graduate of Kenmore High School, Kenmore, NY. She attended Bryant & Stratton Business College, Buffalo, NY and Duff's Iron City College, Pittsburgh, PA. She was a member of Damascus United Methodist Church, Damascus, OH.

Her husband, John A. Gibson, Jr. whom she married November 27, 1935, died July 6, 1991. She leaves three sons, John A. (Connie) Gibson III of Harvey Cedar, New Jersey, Charles I. (Jan) Gibson of Auburn, WA and Robert E. (Joan) Gibson of Hubbard; one daughter, Patricia (Bob) Gibson Steller of Center Lovell. ME; 14 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Her parents and a sister, Jayne Ramley are deceased.

There are no callings hours or funeral service.
