HUBBARD Ruth A. Gillis, 65, died Tuesday evening May 16, 2017 at Vibra Hospital in Boardman after an extended illness. She was born July 15, 1951 in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Jack and Ruth Harris Dahman and was a lifelong area resident.

Ms. Gillis, a graduate of Liberty High School, worked at Elokim Herbals in quality control for 5 years. She enjoyed working puzzles.

A loving mother and friend, Ruth leaves two daughters, Angela Cochran of Lake Milton and Amy Gillis of Florissant, CO; two brothers, Jack Dahman of Kinsman and Buddy Dahman of Hubbard; three grandchildren, Briana, Caleb and Caiden and three great grandchildren, Liam, Juliana and Xander.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents.

There are no calling hours or funeral services.

Arrangements are being handled by the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.
