HUBBARD Russell W. "Ruck" Willrich, 84, died Friday morning October 5, 2012 at Northside Hospital Medical Center. He was born January 21, 1928 in Youngstown, a son of Glenn R. and Myrtle Kane Willrich and was a lifelong area resident.

Ruck was a self employed carpenter retiring in 2009. He was a 1945 graduate of Scienceville High School and served with the United States Army. He was a member of the Covenant Life Fellowship Church of Hubbard and the Hubbard Senior Citizens.

He leaves his wife, the former Josephine A. DiRocco, whom he married November 18, 1950; two sons, Russell W. (Phyllis) Willrich, Jr. of McDonald and Douglas Mark (Carol) Willrich of Climax, NC; a daughter-in-law, Sherry Willrich of Lowellville; a sister, Donna(Smokey) Olenick of Boardman; 11 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

Ruck was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Richard Allan Willrich; a brother, Glenn Willrich and three sisters, Frances Leedy, Virginia Russo and Jane Carter.

Family and friends may call on Monday 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday 10:00 AM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.

Interment will be at Tod Homestead Cemetery.
