HUBBARD, Ruby E Jamison, 91, died January 29, 2013 at her home in Hubbard Ohio.
She was born July 23, 1921 in Clay County, W.Va., the oldest of eleven children of William A and Sarah (Lyons) Shamblin.
Ruby worked in the Philadelphia shipyards for the Sun Shipbuilding Co as a welder during World War II. She also worked for the Owens-Corning Glass Co in W. Va. and the Hubbell Electric Co. in Virginia.
Ruby was a member of the Austintown Baptist Church, Youngstown, Ohio.
She leaves one granddaughter Alisa (Mark) Daubert and one great granddaughter Hanna, of Lynchburg, Va.
Also, two sisters, Clarice Parsons of Hubbard, Oh, and Shirley (James) King of Ovapa, W Va.; three brothers, Junior (Mary) Shamblin of Procious W. Va., Roscoe (Carrol) Shamblin of Girard, Ohio, and Okey Shamblin of KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Delmer Jarvis, who died in 1946. Her second husband John Jamison of VA; an infant son, Doy Jarvis and another son Russell Jarvis of Alexandria Va., who died in 1991. Two sisters Sylvia Isaacs of Still Well Ok., and Jesse Thompson of Procious, WV; three brothers Virgil Shamblin, of Hubbard, Oh, Delmer Shamblin of Procious, WV and Perry Shamblin, of Pryor, OK.
Viewing will be Sat, Feb. 2 between 6-8 pm and Funeral services will be held Sun Feb 3, at 10 am at the Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home in Clay, W Va,
Interment will be at Sams Cemetery, in Procious W.Va.
