Rosemary Lanning's Obituary
AKRON Rosemary Lanning, 82, died Sunday morning January 13, 2013 at the Arbors at Fairlawn. She was born January 19, 1930 in Copley, OH a daughter of Emery and Rosemary Shingleton.
Mrs. Lanning, a homemaker, was of the Baptist faith. She was a member of the Youngstown Senior Citizens, loved to play Bingo, do arts and crafts, crochet and sew. Rosemary also loved to play games, her favorites were Sorry, Bunco, Yahtzee and Dominos.
Her husband, Bruce B. Lanning, whom she married February 2, 1947, died January 13, 2008.
She leaves three sons, Donald B. (Hanna) Lanning of Weathersfield, Kenneth (Rhonda) Lanning of Lorain and David L. (Karen) Lanning of Akron; a daughter, Joanne M. Lambert of Akron; 22 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 3great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Betty R. Busse; a son, James B. Lanning; a grandson, Richard C. Lanning; four brothers and eight sisters.
Family and friends may call on Thursday 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Friday 1:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Setser officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
Interment will be at Tod Homestead Cemetery.
