HUBBARD Private funeral services were held for Rose A. Ramos, 85, who died Monday morning September 5, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Boardman. She was born November 18, 1925 in Youngstown, a daughter of Giovanni and Isabella Sibino Emanuel and has lived in Hubbard since 1970 coming from Youngstown.

Mrs. Ramos, a homemaker, was a member of St. Patrick Church. She played tennis for 20 years with her husband John and Grandson Joseph. Rose enjoyed spending time in her yard and took great pride in her cooking and baking.

Her husband, John T. Ramos, whom she married March 2, 1946, died March 1, 2001.

Rose leaves her beloved grandson, Joseph John (Lori) Diorio of Poland.

She is also survived by a daughter, Joanne Rose Ramos of Youngstown; a brother, John Emanuel of Youngstown; two sisters, Judy (Jerry) Rehak of Youngstown and Elizabeth Johnston of Austintown; two grandsons, Daniel Patterson and Roger White and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Nicholas Emanuel; two sisters, Margaret Lent and Mary Precurato.

Burial took place at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
