HUBBARD Rose M. DiRocco, 97, of Hubbard, died Saturday morning, January 7, 2006, at her home. She was born April 3, 1908, in Youngstown, a daughter of Dominic and Angeline Colonna Zorella and was a life long area resident.
Mrs. DiRocco worked for St. Elizabeth Hospital for 23 years, retiring in 1972. She was a member of Covenant Life Fellowship in Hubbard and enjoyed crocheting.
Her husband, Peter D. DiRocco, whom she married July 3, 1924, died September 12, 1950. She leaves three sons, Louis (Marlene) DiRocco of Youngstown, Peter (Carol) DiRocco of Moberly, MO and Samuel (Joanne) DiRocco of Phoenix, AZ; five daughters Congetta Kepics of Youngstown, Josephine (Russell) Willrich of Hubbard, Clara Ducay of Youngstown, Eleanor (Dominick) Nigro of West Middlesex, PA and Sandra (Rodger) Davis of Youngstown; one sister, Sarah Watson of Youngstown; 41 grandchildren; 76 great-grandchildren and 42 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by three children, Carol Tuchek, Edith DiRocco and a child who died in infancy and two brothers, James and Louis Zorella.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
