Ronald "Wimp" Werner's Obituary


HUBBARD Ronald A. "Wimp" Werner, 65, of Hubbard, died on Tuesday morning, September 4, 2007 at Northside Medical Center. He was born on September 12, 1941, in Grove City, PA, a son of Raymond and Dorothy Wilder Werner and was a lifelong Hubbard resident.

Mr. Werner was a traffic manager at Yourga Trucking in Wheatland, PA for 34 years, retiring in 2004. He was of the Methodist faith and attended St. John's Episcopal Church in Sharon, PA. Wimp was a member of the Shenango Valley Corvette Club and enjoyed NASCAR, snowmobiling and Corvettes. He had served in the Air Force Reserves.

His wife, the former Juanita M. Merwin, whom he married on August 27, 1973, died on March 19, 2004.

He leaves two sons, Jeff S. (Amy) Werner of Missoula, MT and Brian D. Werner of Hubbard; a daughter, Christine L. (Garyn) Sheets of Cleveland; a brother, Richard L. (Kay) Werner of Hermitage and three grandchildren, Carly and Jordan Werner and Grace Sheets.

Besides his wife, his parents preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home in Hubbard.

Family and friends may call from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
