HUBBARD Ronald J. Stefan, Sr., 67, of Hubbard, died Thursday morning, June 14, 2007, at his residence. He was born on January 14, 1940, in Youngstown, a son of Peter J. and Agnes R. Holmer Stefan and was a lifelong area resident.
Mr. Stefan was a mechanical engineer for the General Electric Corporation for 36 years, retiring in 1995. He was a member of St. Patrick Church in Hubbard and a 1958 graduate of Brookfield High School. Ron was a member of the Gold Wing Motorcycle Club and enjoyed flying, boating and his pug dogs.
He leaves his wife, the former Nancy McCullick, whom he married on August 31, 1990; two sons, Ronald J. Stefan, Jr. of North Jackson and Christopher (Daneen) Racco of Brookfield; two daughters, Donna Jean Dull of Newton Falls and Antonette (Steve) Benner of Northville, MI; two sisters, Elaine (Mark) Petrillo of Hermitage, PA and Arlene (Phil) Spahr of Grand Haven, MI; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
His parents and a sister, Elizabeth Louise Stefan preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home in Hubbard, where family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., prior to the service.
